1st Christmas & 1st Blizzard

Josh celebrated his first Christmas this past weekend. He was really excited Christmas morning and opened 2 whole presents before he needed a nap! We spent Christmas morning in Clifton and then we made the trek to Lynchburg that afternoon. Santa brought Josh more toys than he can play with. Our next project will be converting Tom's "man room" into Josh's playroom. Anyone need a poker table?!



The weekend before Christmas a blizzard came through our area dropping 2 feet of snow. Josh = 26", the snow =24"... you know what we had to do!

Santa and Snow

Josh met Santa this week. Although he didn't cry, Josh wasn't exactly excited to see the old guy. Santa was a good sport and was patient while we tried and tried to get Josh to smile. Obviously, that never happened. I did see Josh lean over and tell Santa that he would like a trampoline, a swimming pool, and a set of golf clubs for Christmas. Let's see if Santa comes through.

6 Months Old!

Josh is 6 months old! We can hardly believe how fast he is growing up!

Before we know it, he'll be packing up his stuff and heading off to college!

Real Food?! This stuff is awesome!

Josh started eating real food this week. So far he has only had oatmeal and squash. He seemed to like the oatmeal okay, but he really liked the squash! We plan to increase the veggies in the coming weeks which will make for messy meal times but great pictures!

Although Josh seems to enjoy this new way of eating, Riley is the one who has benefited the most! Josh's dinnertime has become Riley's favorite time of day. Shocker - he likes squash too!
